1963 – The Detours play at the Goldhawk Social Club in Shepherd’s Bush

1965 – The Who tape their Saturday Club appearance at Aeolian Hall, Studio One of the BBC. Songs recorded live in studio (and released 35 years later on BBC Sessions) are “My Generation, “ “The Good’s Gone, “ and “La La La Lies. “,

1966 – e appears on Dick Clark’s U.S. TV show Where The Action Is. Pete discusses the necessity of being loud to get attention: “Volume is a fantastic thing. Power and volume! “

1966 – Billboard reports that two new Who EP’s were released this week in France, The Kids Are Alright on Decca and I’m a Boy on Polydor.

1967 – The Who play Southfield High School in Southfield, Michigan. Also appearing were Unrelated Segments and The Amboy Dukes, featuring Ted Nugent

1968 – The Who were scheduled to appear on the BBC show How It Is

1968 – The Who play the Town Hall in St. Albans, Herfordshire

1971 – The Who play the Memorial Coliseum at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama

1973 – The Who seize the Forum in Los Angeles for two nights. Their performances are later released on bootleg under such titles as Rock And Roll Who-Chee-Koo, Live at The Forum ’73, Live At The Forum ’74, and 100% Loud Noise.

1975 – A single from The Who By Numbers, “Squeeze Box “ backed with “Success Story “ is released in the U.S. It reaches #10 in the Billboard charts and #11 in Cash Box. It also spends 16 weeks in the Billboard Top One Hundred, the longest charting of any U.S. Who single.

1995 – U.S. cable channel TNT airs the 11/5 all-star concert of The Wizard Of Oz at Avery Fisher Hall featuring Roger as the Tin Man

1995 – The U.S. cable network TNT airs the “The Wizard Of Oz” concert and rehearsal video in which Roger played the Tin Man and sang “If I Only Had a Heart”. It is later released on CD and home video

1998 – LiveConcerts.com cybercasts The John Entwistle Band’s July 28th performance at the House Of Blues in Los Angeles.

2000 – Pete reports on his website that Roger got upset when he had announced that there would be no Who album recorded anytime soon. He had to telephone him and calm him down.

2006 – The Who play The Arena At Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia

2010 – The 4-CD box set Live At Leeds 40th Anniversary Super Deluxe Collector’s Ediiton is released in the U.S.

2012 – Pete is interviewed by Alan Cross at the Indigo Bookstore in Toronto followed by a book signing
