1965 – ‘s Light Programme’s Saturday Club, recorded on the 22nd is broadcast from 10pm-12am and features “It’s Not True”, “The Good’s Gone”, “La La LA Lies”, “My Generation”, and “Baby Don’t You Do It”. Pete is also interviewed by Brian Matthews. The show also featured Tom Jones and the Squires, Donovan, the Foremost, and the Settlers.

1965 – e gets a call from ex-art-schoolmate Karen Astley. “We had a long, funny conversation and decided to start seeing each other”.
1968 – The Who pre-tape an appearance for a New Year’s Eve special in Paris at the ORTF Studios. The Who mime to “I’m a Boy,” “I Can See For Miles” and “Magic Bus.” During a performance by Hughes Aufrey, Pete, Keith and Bob Pridden can be seen doing a mad dance in the crowd.
1971 – Billboard reports that Who’s Next has hit #2 in France and Belgium, #3 in Denmark and #6 in Norway. Meanwhile “Won’t Get Fooled Again” is #1 in Malaysia.
1972 – all-star recording of Tommy by the London Symphony orchestra is released in the U.S. It reaches #5 in the U.S. charts.
1973 – The Who play The Omni in Atlanta, Georgia
1975 – The Who play the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia
1982 – The final leg of the North American tour begins at the Orlando Tangerine Bowl. The opening acts are Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and The B-52’s who are booed offstage after 25 minutes of their set.
1982 – Roger, John Kenney Jones, Bobby Pridden and manager Bill Curbishley play field hockey with a women’s team, while wearing wigs and women’s uniforms!
1982 – e records “Prelude #556 “ in his hotel room on his TEAC Portastudio
1985 – e’s mini-movie White City is released on videodisc and videotape. The film shows Pete playing a fictional version of himself, visiting an old working-class friend who is recently divorced from a swimming instructor and lives in the titular housing project. Following the movie is an explanatory interview with Pete and an in-studio performance of a song not included on the accompanying LP, “Night School.”
1987 – John and his band ‚”Rat Race Choir‚” play Baity’s Backstreets in Winston-Salem, North Carolina
1993 – Adam Faith’s Midnight Postcards hits the U.K. charts. It features Roger singing with Faith on “Stuck In The Middle, “ “Squeeze Box “ and “I’ll Be Your Baby Tonight. “ The album peaks at #43.
1998 – Roger is the guest star playing Scrooge for this year’s run of A Christmas Carol in New York City. People who pay for their tickets with American Express get a free CD single of Roger singing “God Bless Us Every One. “ Roger is in the show until January 3rd but has to cancel many appearances due to a bad case of flu.
2000 – The Who play the Royal Albert Hall in Kensington Gore, London
2001 – The Concert For New York double CD is released. It peaks at #27 on the U.S. Billboard charts
2006 – The Who play the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania
2006 – Vagh releases the album U and Eye featuring a cover of “Pinball Wizard”.
