1973 – The Who perform at Spectrum in Philadelphia. The show is recorded and later broadcast in quadraphonic sound on The King Biscuit Flower Hour syndicated radio show in the U.S. from which it is widely bootlegged. “Won’t Get Fooled Again” has a commercial release on the 1998 CD King Biscuit: Best Of The Best and on the 2007 fan club CD View From A Backstage Pass along with “The Punk and The Godfather.”
1975 – The Who play Chicago Stadium in Chicago, Illinois
1979 – The Who play at Buffalo Memorial Auditorium, the security staff is doubled and doors are opened three hours before the concert. Roger says from the stage “You all heard what happened yesterday. We feel totally shattered. We lost a lot of family yesterday. This show’s for them “.
1982 – The Who play The Cotton Bowl in Dallas. Billy Squire and Steel Breeze are the opening acts. After the show, Pete returns to his hotel room and records the demo “Holly Like Ivy” on his TEAC Portastudio. It will later appear on Another Scoop. John goes to a local bar and jams with a group onstage.
1985 – Roger Daltrey continues his solo tour at Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.

1998 – The Daily Mail reports that a firm of yacht brokers is suing Pete Townshend over the sale of two of his boats.
1999 – Roger performs the first of two nights in a rock ‘n’ roll version of Handel’s “Messiah” in Dublin
1999 – ITV airs an episode of its Classic Albums series focusing on the recording of Who’s Next. The excellent documentary is made with the participation of Pete, Roger and John who discuss the album’s background and revisit the master tapes. The show is subsequently released for home video.
2006 – The Who play the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
2012 – The boxset The Who Studio Albums with all of The Who’s studio albums in 180gm vinyl and reproductions of the original sleeves and insertions, is released for the holidays.
