1973 – Roger is back in London taping an appearance on The Old Grey Whistle Test (BBC-2) to promote his first solo single “Giving It All Away.” The show airs the following day.
1975 – A. D. Murphy in Variety, the U.S. movie industry bible, gives Tommy: The Movie a rave review and says it has great box-office potential

1983 – Pete is interviewed by Paul Morley in New Musical Express. Pete hints at what is to come: “I was double dealing with the band for a long time. I was in the band, I was making money with the band, I was still using the band as a vehicle for my songs, living off the band, and all the time I was telling the world how shitty they were, how frustrated I felt… I expressed all this frustration and I did nothing to back it up.”
1983 – John appears on the Channel Four TV programme GasTank interviewed by Rick Wakeman and performing “Twist and Shout” and “Get America” with Tony Ashton
1996 – On the 4th a remixed and remastered CD of The Who’s recording of Tommy is released in Britain. It comes out on the 12th in the U.S. The cover is changed to Mike McInnerney’s original work that does not feature The Who’s faces in the diamond shapes.
1996 – The John Entwistle Band play Shank Hall in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
1996 – The Who re-issue program releases a remixed and remastered version of Tommy in the U.S.
2004 – The Who’s two new recordings, “Real Good Looking Boy” and “Old Red Wine,” become available as downloads on iTunes. The first song is about a childhood incident of Pete’s where his mother told him he would never be handsome. The second is a tribute to the late John Entwistle and his love of collecting antique wines
2012 – Roger plays at Teatro Colosseo in Turin
2016 – The Who play the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky
