1963 – The Detours play White Hart Hotel in Acton
1965 – The Who played De Montfort Hall in Leicester supporting Tom Jones and Marianne Faithfull. Appearing before The Who are The Naturals, The Squires, The Hustlers, Jon Mark and Al Paige.
1969 – The Who present Tommy to America for the first time at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit, Michigan. The supporting act is Joe Cocker & The Grease Band. This venue gets the honors because it is run by Pete’s old art school friend and former Who photographer Tom Wright. Wright tapes the show on a portable Nagra recorder.
1970 – The Who play Owens Union at the University of Manchester in Manchester. Jan Dukes De Grey opened
1979 – In Variety, Pete says he wants to put out videodisc albums with visuals that would go along with the music. They also report that Roger is now working on the film McVicar.
1986 – Roger’s solo song “After The Fire” is featured in an episode of NBC-TV’s series Miami Vice. You can watch a clip of this show here
1990 – It is reported that Pete has invested £150,000 in a scheme to ferry commuters down the Thames
1991 – Roger Daltrey reportedly had publicity photos taken at a Grand Prix event.
1997 – The Who play the Westfalenhallen in Dortmund, Germany
2005 – Roger is a presenter at the Sony Radio Academy Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
2009 – Quadrophenia: The Musical opens at Theatre Royal in Plymouth. Music, lyrics and concept by Pete Townshend. Stage adaptation by Jeff Young, John O’Hara and Tom Critchley.
2015 – The Who were scheduled to play the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky
2019 – The Who play the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York
