1963 – The Detours play the White Hart Hotel in Acton
1966 – The Who play The Refectory at Leeds University in Leeds
1967 – John marries his childhood sweetheart Alison Wise, the future inspiration for “My Wife,” at Acton Congregational Church. This makes him the third member of The Who to get married, but the first of which the public is made aware. Roger and Keith’s marriages are still kept secret. Afterwards John and Alison sail off for a honeymoon on the QEII.
1977 – Keith Moon comes out of seclusion to join Led Zeppelin during an encore at the Los Angeles Forum. While John Bonham drums to “Moby Dick”, Keith plays tympani and tambourine.

1979 – The Kids Are Alright soundtrack double LP is released in the U.S. The album peaks at #8 in America.
1980 – The Who play the first of five nights at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena in Los Angeles, California

1989 – The Who play the first of two nights at the Canadian National Exhibition Stadium in Toronto, Canada
1992 – Roger appears as a special guest at The Chieftains concert at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. After the show he attend a post show party at “Victoria Station”
2000 – VH1.com prints an article with interview clips. In one of them Roger again discusses his hatred of computers
2000 – Pete writes a web diary from New York saying he is bringing a demo recorder in case he and Roger write any songs on the road and also a mini-cam with which he can take pictures from the stage for his video diaries.
2000 – In an interview by Gary Graff and Lisa Taylor, Pete says that a new Who album wouldn’t be a concept album because fans and music critics don’t seem to want that.
2001 – Pete performs solo as a benefit for the La Jolla Playhouse on the campus of the University Of California, San Diego
2001 – “A Walk Down Abbey Road: A Tribute To The Beatles.” featuring John play at The Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona
2002 – The first edition of Andy Neill and Matt Kent’s exhaustive timeline book Anyway Anyhow Anywhere: The Complete Chronicle of the Who: 1958-1978 is published
2007 – The Who play the Knowsley Hall Festival at Knowsley Hall in Knowsley, Lancashire
2010 – Roger and his solo band play a Hewlett-Packard event with the Goo Goo Dolls at HP Tech Forum 2010 in Las Vegas
