1963 – The Detours play the Goldhawk Social Club in Shepherd’s Bush

1964 – The High Numbers play the Florida Rooms in Brighton, the first performance using that name

1965 – The Who hold rehearsals at the White Hart Hotel in Acton

1966 – Amanda Moon is born to the secretly-married drummer and his wife Kim. Keith, however, fails to bring his wife home from the hospital because he is on a three-day LSD trip.

1968 – The Who play the Ballroom at Indiana Beach in Monticello, Indiana

1969 – Melody Maker reports that Pete told them backstage at the Royal Albert Hall about The Who’s deal with Universal International for a film of Tommy to be made at the end of 1969 with a six-figure budget.The Who are also featured in “Caught in the Act”

1969 – Rolling Stone magazine carries an interview with Pete on Tommy

1971 – The Who play The Winter Garden in Eastbourne, East Sussex

1972 – The London Symphony Orchestra records the new Pete song “Love, Reign O’er Me” intended for the orchestral Tommy album. Maggie Bell ultimately records a vocal. That version remains unreleased to date although the symphonic recording may be the one used by Ronnie Charles for his cover of the song on his album Prestidigitation.

1972 – Keith is admitted to Weybridge Hospital to remove an abscess at the base of his spine.

1989 – The Who play the first of two shows at Sullivan Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts

1993 – Pete plays the first of two nights at Beacon Theater in New York

1999 – The John Entwistle Band holds a cyberchat on Yahoo!

2006 – The Who play the Treptow Arena in Berlin, Germany

2008 – The Who play at the Edwin W. Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles as part of the VH1 Rock Honors: The Who

2011 – Roger plays Colston Hall in Bristol
